Complimentary call with a therapist.
Whether you’re uncertain about your child’s specific needs or you’re interested in more information, we start every relationship with a complimentary consultation.
60–90 minute evaluation.
Once we’ve determined your child is a good fit for speech and/or feeding therapy, we start with an in-home evaluation. We begin with a parent/caregiver interview to gain insight into your child’s medical history and your current concerns about speech, language, feeding, sleeping, breathing, or other behaviors. We perform a direct assessment of speech, language, and feeding skills depending on your area of concern. Finally, we complete the evaluation with a functional and structural assessment of your child’s oral motor skills.
Your child’s personalized plan.
We develops a personalized therapeutic plan for your child’s speech and/or feeding challenges. This typically includes therapy sessions between 1–3 times per week, depending on your child’s unique needs. We also provide coaching and guidance so families and caregivers can easily incorporate daily skills practice at home.
Ongoing flexibility and collaboration.
We’re committed to making the therapeutic process as seamless as possible. Our team is available to work with your child at home, school, or sensory gym. We also offer virtual visits.

Our team of speech and feeding therapists serves families and children in Brooklyn (Dumbo, Brooklyn Heights, Prospect Heights, Downtown Brooklyn, Park Slope, Cobble Hill, Carroll Gardens, Fort Greene, Gowanus, Prospect Lefferts Gardens, and Bay Ridge) and Manhattan (Upper West Side, Upper East, and other neighborhoods in Manhattan depending on availability).
Typically, a child should be 100% intelligible to unfamiliar listeners by the age of 4. For younger children, unfamiliar listeners should be able to understand roughly 25% by age one, 50% by age two, and 75% by age three. If you are uncertain about your child’s progress, reach out to us for a complimentary phone consultation and we’d be happy to answer any questions or concerns you have.
No, we do not take insurance—however, we’re more than happy to help you navigate the process of receiving reimbursements for out-of-network benefits! We also believe in full transparency as to why we don’t take insurance: Insurance dictates how often children can be seen and what they can be seen for. This is extremely limiting and doesn’t ensure a whole-child approach.
Your child’s sessions are completely customized based on their unique needs. In general, our sessions typically range from 30–45 minutes, one to three times per week.
We pride ourselves on offering convenience and flexibility for parents and caregivers. Our services are available at your home, at your child’s school, at a sensory gym nearby, or virtually.
